[ads1 id=”alignright”]Back in 2011, Steven Tyler joined the judging panel for the tenth season of the hit singing competition series, American Idol, replacing the long-time judge, Simon Cowell.
Although Simon and Steven are nothing alike, one thing that they have in common is that both of them have been rumored to have undergone plastic surgery.
Rumors have been circulating that the legendary frontman of the rock band Aerosmith may have had his deeper wrinkles softened by getting dermal injectables pumped into his face. He is even suspected of having undergone a facelift at some point in the past, if not several.
Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Beverly Hills-based facial plastic surgery specialist, believed that at some point in his life, Steven Tyler may have undergone a facelift. Additionally, Dr. Paul also suspects Steven of using Botox and other facial fillers. For some reason, Dr. Paul believes that Steven has not gone overboard with these cosmetic procedures.
After watching season 10 of American Idol, Dr. Anthony Youn, another plastic surgeon, was very certain that Steven Tyler “had work done.” After comparing older photos of Steven to his appearance while he was a judge on American Idol, Dr. Anthony reached the conclusion that his face appeared to be filled out and plumped up.
Dr. Anthony even deduced that the possible work Steven had gotten done was quite recent at that time, perhaps specifically in preparation for being a judge on American Idol. Dr. Anthony pointed out that Steven had probably gotten substantial amounts of fillers injected around his eyes, in his cheeks and frown lines.
He even suspected that the filler was probably Juvederm. Juvederm is a long-lasting, soft filler that volumizes the face. Unlike Dr. Paul, Dr. Anthony believes that whatever injectable fillers he has used have been indeed been overdone, considering how feminine he looks as of lately.
Regardless of his appearance, fans had not been bothered by the fact that he allegedly had some work done to his face, and they also did not seem to mind that Steven Tyler replaced Simon Cowell on American Idol either.
