[ads1 id=”alignright”]Apart from being remembered for starring as Peg Bundy in the 80’s and 90’s hit fox sitcom “Married with Children,” Katey Sagal is also being noticed for having maintained her appearance for quite a long time.
Even though she has come a long way from playing the big-haired, lazy redhead, starring in the FX drama “Sons of Anarchy” as of lately, but her good looks still seem to be the same.
It is not a miracle that this Katey looks much younger despite being in her sixties, but could be a result of going under the knife.
Katey Sagal’s facial structure has always been strong, but the fact that her skin is free of wrinkles and unbelievably smooth means that she probably takes advantage of Botox injections. She may also have underwent a mild-facelift in order to get her skin tightened, while her make-up artist also likely contributes to her youthful appearance.
Dr. Sherrell J. Aston, a New York-based plastic surgeon, apparently had a look at some of Katey’s very recent pictures and he noticed that her cheeks, jawline and neckline are “very clean.” He believes that this is probably a result of a bit of “facial tightening.”
However, he also adds that good makeup application could easily fool viewers into thinking she has gone under the knife due to her “strong” cheekbones and jawline.
Heavy eyelids are a common sign of aging, and although Katey’s eyebrows do look droopy and heavier in older photos, they do not look as heavy in more recent photos. It does seem that all evidence points towards a facelift that Katey had at some point.
Even Dr. Sherrell agrees that Katey’s eyebrows look slightly “less heavy,” but he too is not certain whether she may have gotten cosmetic work done on them. If not eyelid surgery, then lightning and/or make-up might be making her eyelids appear younger.
However, Sherrell J. Aston is somewhat sure that Katey Sagal has probably gotten some Botox injected into her “frown creases.”
Despite her age, Katey looks perhaps twice as younger, so if she did go under the knife, she certainly experienced great results.
