Olga Kurylenko had her fair share of spotlight appearances in recent years, not only as a ‘bond girl‘, but also as an accomplished model and actress. Olga started her modeling career whe she was just fourteen years old, and it wasn’t until 2005 that she made her debut as an actress. The beautiful green eyed actress earned praise from fans and critics alike for her outstanding work in Quantum of Solace (2008), and she built on that praise quite a lot in the following years.
[ads1 id=”alignright”]Today, Olga is one of the most admired actresses in Hollywood, not only for her acting skills, but for her amazing good looks as well.
Some would say that good looks are a requirement for a bond girl, and they would be right to some extent.
Thankfully for all of us, Olga was blessed with a slender, hourglass body that undoubtedly adds to her persona, but is in no way what defines her.
Still, it wouldn’t hurt to take a closer look at what habits and routines she has in order to get a better understanding of why she looks as gorgeous as she does.
Working out for the job
Believe it not, Olga isn’t a fan of working out, yet she always gets in shape before a role. As soon as she lands a new gig, she immediately gets to work trying to make herself look as good as possible. In fact, seeing how most of Olga’s recent roles demanded that she looks at her best, it would be safe to assume that she spent quite a lot of time at the gym. Even so, as soon as the job is done, she has no problems falling back to a more loose regime in terms of both diet and workout routines.
No pain no gain
In order to look at her best, Olga did a lot of skydiving, kickboxing, martial arts, and quite a bit of strength training. This wasn’t just supposed to improve her stamina for the scene in which she had to put in a lot of effort, but also to tone her body as much as possible. All this sustained effort did a number on her muscles as she herself admitted in an interview at the premiere of Quantum of Solace. This however, wasn’t the first nor the last time she ended up with pain in her arms and legs, but such are the risks of being an actress.
An active lifestyle
Despite her unwillingness to work out on a regular basis, Olga isn’t afraid of getting physical every once in a while. In fact, she enjoys hiking, swimming, and other cardio exercises as often as possible. She might not spend an awful lot of time at the gym, but she lives a very active life. Olga also practices yoga occasionally, which is a reminder of her ballet dancing days, before the accident in which she hurt her leg severely. Her ballet dancing days may be over, but her acting career looks promising, and we are bound to hear more of beautiful Olga from now on.
