However, rumor has it that Avril Lavigne had a nose job at some point, and there might just be some truth to it.
For quite a while now, celebrity watchers have been going on and on about how Avril’s nose changed its shape ever so slightly over time.
It used to be that her nose was short and round, almost bulbous, while the tip of her nose wasn’t too defined. Nowadays, however, Avril’s nose is thinner, longer, and more proportionate all around. We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but it does seem that Avril Lavigne had a nose job recently.
At this point, it has to be said that Avril’s alleged nose job was a smooth one by all standards. In fact, you pretty much have to do a double-take on every ‘before and after’ picture you see before noticing the slight change, but it’s there.
By comparing recent pictures of Avril Lavigne with pictures of her younger self, we see that her old bulbous nose has become thinner over time. This, along with the fact that her nose is now longer and more proportionate, means that she most likely had a nose job at some point.

The reason behind Avril’s decision to go under the knife is not yet known, so it could be that she had the procedure for cosmetic reasons alone.
We say this because every time celebrities decide to have a nose job they usually invoke some sort of medical affliction that warrants the procedure in the first place.

Judging by the fact that Avril has kept quiet about the ordeal, it would be safe to presume that she wanted to keep the nose job hidden from the world.
