Nobody can deny that Nikolaj Coster is perhaps one of the most handsome actors on television at this point in time and understandably so given his recent spike in popularity.

It isn’t just his fame that makes him such a dreamboat, however, but his natural good looks as well. Some of you may not be aware of this but he cultivates his image by working out regularly and by following a relatively strict diet plan.

This being said, Nikolaj cares a lot more about his on-screen performances than he cares about his looks, even though he spends an awful lot of time at the gym anyway.

Speaking of which, he often works out at the gym and more often than not, he prefers to work out in the company of his friends. As part of his routine, he prefers to do cardio exercises, pull-ups, medicine ball slams, plyometric push-ups, handstand pushups, T-pushups,handstand-outs, and lunges.

On a related note, we should point out that the handsome actor doesn’t just visit the gym to keep himself in good shape but also to help himself get over a chronic back injury that has been troubling him since he was a much younger man.

As such, Nikolaj loves to run and to lift weights on a regular basis, an approach to working out that has been doing wonders to his physique if we are to be completely honest. As a matter of fact, it may also have something to do with why he was given his famous Game of Thrones role in the first place.

It isn’t just his physique that landed him the job, of course, but it just so happens that he fit the part perfectly both mentally and physically. Also worth pointing out is the fact that although he enjoys working out as often as he can, he takes very good care not to overdo it so as to avoid aggravating his chronic back problems.

In this regard, it should be said that Nikolaj works out under the guidance of Jesper Mouriutzen who has been coaching him for quite a few years now.

Nikolaj isn’t necessarily a fan of bulking up from an aesthetic point of view, even though it is bound to happen given how much he works out. Not only that but he also eats protein as part of his routine, along with a fair share of fruits and vegetables to top it off.

Overall, it needs to be said that Nikolaj Coster may not be a fitness freak by any means but that he does take his workouts seriously. Judging by how he looks, it would be fair to assume that he should definitely keep doing whatever it is that he’s doing because he looks a lot better than most men his age.
