In fact, she firmly refuses to shoot any nude scenes and has strict standards of what she will and will not wear during photo shoots.
She is so self conscious about her image and how people view her, that she sued Playboy in 2006 after the magazine featured a picture of her on the cover. Jessica claims that her being on the cover gave the impression that the magazine featured erotic pictures of her, which was couldn’t have been further away from the truth.
Jessica may not enjoy being the center of attention very much, but she welcomes any contracts that she gets because of her public image. Over the years, her beautiful smile and natural good looks landed her some pretty lucrative deals with movie studios and magazines. Even so, Jessica resents ambitious young girls who are prepared to do anything to get famous, as she never really considered her beauty to be an asset, especially when negotiating with men.
The reason why Jessica is so selective about her roles, is because she wants to be taken seriously as an actress, and the only way to do that is to take roles she otherwise wouldn’t be interested in.
