[ads1 id=”alignright”]Kourtney Kardashian has openly revealed the fact that she underwent breast augmentation surgery and she even openly expressed her regret over going under the knife.
However, there have been other rumors and speculations too regarding the possibility that she may also have undergone post-pregnancy plastic surgeries like a tummy tuck to regain her slim figure. Kourtney has even revealed she got rid of her cellulite through Velashape laser treatment.
Back in 2009 when Kourtney was pregnant with her second child, she admitted that she intended to breast feed her baby, despite the fact that she has implants. Apparently, she was not exactly sure about whether or not moms who have undergone breast augmentation can breastfeed their children, but she claimed that she wanted to.
Dr. David Shafer, a New York-based plastic surgeon, helps clarify this particular matter. He has explained that breast implants are placed under the breast or even under the muscle. So, women with breast implants can definitely breastfeed because their ducts and glands are “still intact.”
However, Dr. Jennifer Walden, a Miami-based plastic surgeon, believes that Kourtney will definitely be able to breastfeed, as there is now way the implants could interfere.
Back in 2012, Kourtney admitted that she was not exactly happy about undergoing plastic surgery. Kourtney was just 22 when she got breast implants, and apparently, she was regretting her decision in 2012. She even admitted that it was “dumb” of her to undergo breast augmentation.
Kourtney revealed that even years later, she would feel discomfort, especially when lying down. According to her, her breasts do not feel like “part of [her] body.”
After Kourtney gave birth to a baby girl in 2013, it did not take long for her to return to wearing bikinis and she looked surprisingly great. Although this led to post-pregnancy plastic surgery rumors, apparently they did not extend to her fuller breasts.
Rather speculations are that she had indeed been breastfeeding her baby as she had claimed she would. It is a good thing that her experience with plastic surgery ended up teaching her somewhat of a lesson.
