[ads1 id=”alignright”]In April 2014, Tom Cruise attended the Jameson Empire Awards, where he was dubbed “Legend Of Our Lifetime’ At Jameson.”
However, something not-so-legendary that was noticed by people was how puffy his face looked.
Some were even concerned that the actor had been suffering from some allergic reaction; however, experts were certain that the puffy appearance of his face was likely a result of undergoing plastic surgery.
An eyewitness who had been presented there at the Jameson Empire Awards described the appearance of Tom Cruise’s face like a “puffy pillow.” This eyewitness claimed that everyone noticed that Tom Cruise was looking quite different.
It is notable that Tom Cruise had not been officially sighted for a couple of months before his appearance at the Jameson Empire Awards. Dr. Anthony Youn, a celebrity plastic surgeon, suspects that the reason behind Tom’s absence may have been the many alleged visits to a plastic surgeon’s clinic.
Tom Cruise has always been handsome, but he is getting older, and he probably wants to continue looking good for a long time still. Dr. Anthony also speculates that Tom’s youthful look could be a result of the use of some filler like Sculptra.
So did Tom had a facelift or not? If we are to compare recent pictures of Tom with pictures of his younger self, we see that his face isn’t as slim as it used to be, all signs pointing towards a facelift and facial fillers.
Dr. Anthony explains that getting some filler like Sculptra injected into the face can lead to facial swelling, especially when gaunt faces are being filled up using it.
There is also a possibility that Tom Cruise may have been feeling more insecure about his age and looks since according to a source, he was single at the time.
Those who believe that Tom Cruise has indeed used facial fillers also believe that if he was still happily married, he probably would not be so self conscious about the way he looks.
