She is also the host of The Tyra Banks Show, a talk show where myths and rumors were frequently dispelled.
Of course, Tyra herself has been the subject of plenty of rumors, including rumors that she may have gone under the knife quite a few times.
She ended up proving one such rumor false during the first season of The Tyra Banks Show.
According to rumors, Tyra Banks may have undergone a rhinoplasty before she became a model, in order to successfully pursue the career and give herself a less ethnic appearance.
In photos from her high school days, it is clear that Tyra had a rounder and wider nose. However, in photos taken after she became a model and onwards reveal that she has a more defined and narrower nose with a bridge that is also narrower and a tip that is less rounded.
According to an estimate, a majority of African American celebrities, especially female ones, eventually decide to have a nose job. Despite her efforts to empower black women, Tyra Banks apparently did not want to look too African American back when she was in pursuit of a modeling career.
Tyra Banks Nose Job Plastic Surgery Before and After
Tyra Banks had also been suspected of having undergone breast augmentation surgery, a procedure that gave the 40 year old TV personality her 34DD breasts.
However, those rumors were proven wrong during an on-air segment in which a plastic surgeon had been featured. With the audience watching, Tyra had removed her bra to allow her boobs to dangle free.
Of course, she still had her top on, but it became apparent that she has natural breasts since her assets fell to her navel. The plastic surgeon who was present even used an ultrasound device and was not able to detect any breast implants.
