[ads1 id=”alignright”]There have been many rumors that Barry Manilow, who is known for his pop hits like “Copacabana (At the Copa),” may have gone under the knife to get a facelift procedure done.
Based on a comparison of his older and more recent pictures, less jowling and sagging of his skin have been seen.
Barry Manilow’s look has received quite the criticism from Dr. Roberto Viel, a plastic surgeon from the London Centre of Aesthetic Surgery, for being “very unnatural.” Dr. Roberto’s speculations are that Barry has had blepharoplasty eyelid surgery and brow lift surgery because he no longer those eye bags that were once present under his eyes.
Another speculation by Dr. Roberto is that Barry may have had fillers pumped into his face for the removal of creases and wrinkles. Previously, Barry himself has revealed that he indeed underwent Botox treatment and a couple of facelifts, and considering his consistent wrinkle-free look, it seems that Barry will not stop any time soon.
If not fillers, Dr. Roberto has also speculated that Barry may have had his complexion plumped up by getting fat transfer pumped into his cheeks and may also had his deep facial creases, furrows and wrinkles filled out as well.
In 2003, reports were circulating that Barry had had a complete lower and upper facelift to get the droop skin from his eyebrows removed and to get his facial skinned tightened.
According to those reports, Barry had been spotted exiting the clinic of a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. It was reported that he was wearing dark glasses and a wig at the time to apparently hide the surgery he had undergone.
Even in February this year when Barry Manilow made a television appearance in Los Angeles, his face appeared to be rather taut and wrinkle-free. So, as stated, it appears that Barry Manilow will keep on fighting signs of aging with the help of plastic surgery.
